GRAFTON, W.Va. — The Taylor County school levy was approved Saturday with the support of nearly 75 percent of voters.
“Hooray for the kids of Taylor County Schools. That’s what it’s all about,” Superintendent Kathy Green said.
With 74.72 percent of voters casting ballots in favor of the levy, Green said she was extremely pleased by the strong support.
“It looks like its a record for us. Almost 75 percent of the vote — I know we’ve never been that high before,” she said.
