The West Virginia Press Association has two membership categories in addition to the general memberships of WV’s daily and weekly newspapers.
- Associate Memberships are made available to individuals, companies or organizations that don’t work directly for a newspaper, but work with the newspaper industry on advertising and communications and other issues.
- Lifetime Memberships are bestowed on individuals who have made outstanding contributions with their service to the newspaper industry in West Virginia
