Sean McNamara
FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Misty Poe, general manager and editor of the Times West Virginian, announces that Sean McNamara has been named the newspaper’s sports editor.
A graduate of the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University, McNamara began working at the Times West Virginian in December 2014 as an education and city government reporter before moving into the sports department full time in May of 2015.
In January of this year, McNamara was promoted to assistant news editor where he has performed duties including copy editing and page design while still writing sports features and covering games in process.
