CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Press Association (WVPA) is hosting the annual Legislative Lookahead on Friday, Feb. 7 at the Culture Center located on Capitol grounds in Charleston.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Members of the media are invited to attend panels with Patrick Morrisey, who will be sworn in as West Virginia’s governor on Jan. 13, and legislative leadership, including newly-elected public works officials.
Lunch will be included during the free event.
Additional information will be provided at a later date.
Also, the WVPA is hosting the WV Press Media Social on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This event will also take place at the Culture Center.
Journalists from print and broadcast media will mix and mingle with legislators and state officials.
