West Virginia Nursery & Landscape Association participating in Mid Atlantic Nursery Trade Show in Baltimore

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Nursery & Landscape Association (WVNLA) will be participating in the Mid Atlantic Nursery Trade Show (MANTS) in Baltimore, Md., Jan. 10-12, 2024. MANTS has been held at the Baltimore Convention Center since 1981 and is widely known as the premier trade show for nursery stock, landscaping, and gardening products. The event was rotated among states (held three times at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.) before it moved permanently to the Baltimore Convention Center.

Julie Robinson, WVNLA executive director, said six members will be exhibiting at this year’s show, which is the 53rd year the West Virginia group has joined with its counterparts in Maryland and Virginia to sponsor the Mid Atlantic Nursery Trade Show. Norman Cole III of Cole Nurseries at Pipestem, W.Va. is the current MANTS president.

Robinson said she will man WVNLA’s booth and host a Mountain State membership breakfast during the event. WVNLA member companies participating will include:

  • G&G Nurseries, Lesage, W.Va.
  • Cole Nurseries, Pipestem, W.Va.
  • Saunders Brothers, Piney River, Va.
  • Acorn Nurseries, Ohio
  • Klyn Nurseries, Ohio
  • Willoway, Ohio

Each of the three sponsoring state nursery and landscape associations hold their own educational conferences separate from MANTS. West Virginia’s is all-day February 21 at the Embassy Suites in Charleston.

Robinson said in 2023 the trade show welcomed more than 11,000 attendees with exhibitors and visitors from 42 states and 14 foreign countries. “Thousands of green industry professionals had the opportunity to learn about products, services, and trends from more than 900 exhibiting companies spread throughout 1,530 booths,” said Robinson.

Registration information can be found at www.MANTS.com
