WHEELING, WV – The West Virginia Nonprofit Association (WVNPA) is proud to announce the launch of its new website and refreshed branding on August 20, 2025 – a major step forward in connecting, strengthening, and advocating for West Virginia’s nonprofit sector.
The redesigned site features a modern, user-friendly design with improved navigation, making it easier for members and partners to access resources, events, and advocacy updates. It also offers new tools to foster collaboration and share sector-wide knowledge.
“I’m excited that this new website will help us deepen connections with our members,” said Hilaria Swisher Director of Programs and Engagement. “It’s designed with West Virginia’s nonprofits at the heart – more accessible, more engaging, and making it easier than ever for organizations to find the support they need to thrive.”
Key Features
● Streamlined Member Resources – Toolkits, guides, and templates to strengthen nonprofit operations.
● Events & Training Hub – Centralized listings for professional development, including the annual Nonprofit Leadership Summit.
● Advocacy & Policy Updates – Timely news on issues impacting nonprofits statewide and nationally.
● Business & Consultant Directory – A searchable listing of vetted partners serving the sector.
The rebrand underscores WVNPA’s commitment to elevating nonprofit voices and highlighting the opportunities and challenges shaping the sector today.
“This launch is about more than just a fresh look, it’s about ensuring West Virginia’s nonprofits have the resources, connections, and advocacy they need to meet the challenges ahead,” said
Brett White, WVNPA Board Chair. “Our sector plays a vital role in every corner of the state, and this new website and branding will help us support nonprofits so they can continue making a lasting impact in their communities.”
Nonprofits are also a powerful economic force. 77,685 West Virginians — 14% of the state’s private workforce — are employed by nonprofits, making the sector one of the largest employers in the state.
“West Virginia’s nonprofits are on the frontlines of our communities, stepping in where no other support exists,” said Rosemary Ketchum, WVNPA Executive Director. “At a time when funding cuts and increased demand are straining organizations, this new website and branding are critical investments to ensure nonprofits have the tools and advocacy they need to continue serving West Virginians.”
The new website goes live on August 20, 2025 at www.wvnpa.org.
