CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — With the new year officially here, many people have opted for new changes and goals in their lives, as well as making time for new activities.
Whether looking for something along the lines of being more physically active or something on the leisurely side, there are many hobbies individuals can choose to add to their routines this calendar year.
Due the new year, many people have elected to try and get in better shape, which means adding some type of physical activity as a hobby.
Dr. Elizabeth H. Hess, MD, United Hospital Center Family Medicine Residency Associate Program director and Integrative Medicine director, recently told The Exponent Telegram it’s recommended that adults get at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise per week, like fast walking, casual biking or light yard work, or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity per week, like jogging or swimming…
