Morgantown, WV – U92 “The Moose,” West Virginia University’s student-run radio station, announces the return of its annual “Pledge Your Love to the Moose” pledge drive. This year’s marathon broadcast will begin Monday, February 9 at 6:00 a.m. and conclude Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Every donation helps keep U92 independent while supporting student training and real-world broadcasting experience.
The station’s 2026 goal is $5,000. Proceeds will support ongoing studio projects, travel for play-by-play sports coverage, staff development, and equipment upgrades. Additionally, the station must address a $15,000 emergency project to replace radio tower lighting to remain on the air.
U92 will broadcast special music programs, Valentine’s Day themed segments, expanded sports coverage, live entertainment, and guest appearances from student organizations across the five-day drive. Listeners can tune in to 91.7 FM during the marathon to enjoy special programming and learn more about the impact of their contributions. Donations may be made online through the WVU giving page for the U92 Annual Pledge Drive: give.wvu.edu/give/764067/#!/donation/checkout

Local businesses are invited to support the drive through sponsorships and underwriting opportunities. Interested sponsors should visit U92’s pledge page for sponsorship details or contact Prospect and Price Creative for advertising and sponsorship inquiries.
U92 “The Moose” has served WVU and the Morgantown community since 1982, providing hands-on experience for students working as DJs, sports broadcasters, news reporters, podcasters, engineers, and producers. This annual fundraiser is essential to keeping the station on the air and training the next generation of broadcasters.
