Oak Hill — ACE Adventure Resort invites guests to welcome the return of spring at the 7th Annual Ramp It Up Festival on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Held at The Lost Paddle, this beloved Appalachian tradition brings together bold mountain flavors, live music, and a vibrant community atmosphere in the heart of the New River Gorge National Park.
Centered around West Virginia’s most iconic seasonal ingredient—the wild ramp—this one-of-a-kind festival features an all-you-can-eat ramp buffet showcasing both classic Appalachian recipes and creative culinary twists. Guests can indulge in a wide variety of ramp-inspired dishes, including wood-fired ramp and potato pizza, creamy ramp chowder, ramp “O’Roni” rolls, smoked meatloaf, and even ramp ice cream with salted caramel sauce.
The festival kicks off at 2:00 PM and running through the evening. In addition to the feast, attendees can enjoy live music throughout the day, featuring performances by Andrew Adkins and The Hillbilly Biscuits, delivering a mix of roots, bluegrass, and Appalachian mountain sound. Ramp season is a cherished time in West Virginia, celebrated for its short harvest window and unmistakable flavor—a blend often described as a cross between onion and garlic. Festivals like Ramp It Up honor this regional delicacy while bringing people together to celebrate local culture, cuisine, and community.
Tickets are available for $30 in advance or $35 at the door and include access to the full buffet and live entertainment. Guests are encouraged to bring friends, come hungry, and experience a true taste of Appalachia.
Located on a scenic resort in Oak Hill, West Virginia, ACE Adventure Resort offers the perfect backdrop for this springtime celebration, with lodging, cabins, and adventure activities available for those looking to turn the event into a full weekend getaway.
