Visits Focus on Fighting the Drug Abuse Epidemic and speaking directly with community leaders
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Next week, U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) will make several stops throughout West Virginia to meet with community and business leaders, local officials and students, and discuss current issues that are important to West Virginians. He will make stops in Cabell, Harrison, Kanawha, Pleasants, Wayne and Wood counties.
“Meeting with local officials, students, business leaders and medical professionals throughout West Virginia serve as an invaluable opportunity for me to hear firsthand the thoughts, concerns, and suggestions of West Virginians,” Senator Manchin said. “I look forward to hearing from community leaders directly and getting their thoughts on how to combat this drug abuse epidemic.”
