LEWISBURG, W.Va. — The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) has issued the following media advisory:
On Aug. 20 and Aug. 21, on the WVSOM campus in Lewisburg, WVSOM is hosting WVSOM Bio featuring the ceremonial groundbreaking for a $35 million expansion of the school’s Fredric W. Smith Science Building and an economic development forum with panel discussions on making WVSOM, the Greenbrier Valley, and West Virginia more attractive to the bioscience industry.
Guests include U.S. Senator Jim Justice, U.S. Congresswoman Carol Miller, West Virginia Commerce Secretary Matt Herridge, NIH Representative Stephanie Fertig, Bio International Representative Patrick Plues, and numerous other federal, state, and bioscience industry and education representatives.
