For 130th Airlift Wing
What: Members of the media are invited to attend the homecoming of the 130th Airlift Wing Airmen following their historic deployment to the Horn of Africa. This
deployment is especially significant as it represents the unit’s first mission after
transitioning to the C-130J aircraft. The unit began upgrading from the C-130H3
models to the more advanced C-130J-30s in 2021, marking an important milestone in the unit’s history.
Who: Members of the 130th Airlift Wing, along with state and wing leadership, will be present and available for media interviews.
Where: 130th Airlift Wing, McLaughlin Air National Guard Base, Charleston, W.Va.
When: March 5, 2026, at 12:15 p.m.
