CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Harrison Co. Board of Education members evaluated Superintendent Dr. Mark Manchin’s performance during a special meeting Tuesday.
Board members retreated into executive session to rate and discuss Manchin’s annual evaluation prior to determining if his performance met their yearly expectations.
“The board takes this time to determine how I have done over the year,” Manchin said. “If they are pleased with my performance or if I need to improve in some areas, they use this as an opportunity to look at what I’ve done and for us to move forward in the upcoming year.” …
