On Monday, Oct. 20, the St. Jude Golf Invitational will kick off with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. on the Old White TPC Course, home to the PGA Tour’s Greenbrier Classic.

Presenting sponsor The Peter G. Dodge Foundation is helping to make this event possible.

“In the two years I have been involved with St. Jude, I have developed a deep appreciation and profound respect for their approach to their fight against childhood cancer – in the way that they care for patients, in the integrity of their research and their generosity with findings, and in the efficiency and precision with which they generate and allocate capital.  I want to help with the latter effort to the extent possible, and hope to build this tournament over time into one of the hospital’s key events,” said Peter Dodge, Presenting Sponsor and Co-Chairman of The Inaugural St. Jude Golf Invitational.

About Legends for Charity®

Legends for Charity® is an annual national event held during Super Bowl Weekend to present The Pat Summerall Award to a deserving broadcaster. It is the only event held at the prestigious NFL headquarters hotel that celebrates national sports legends while raising awareness and funding for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Since its inception ten years ago, the event has raised $2.5 million for St. Jude kids and recently expanded regionally to recognize local sports leaders who are philanthropic, too. St. Jude and Ocean 2 Ocean Productions are now branching out this concept into regional events around the country.
