Release from the Contractors Association of West Virginia:
CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Executive Leadership Council recently awarded Contractors Association of West Virginia Executive Director Mike Clowser with its 2018 Meritorious Service Award.
The council, comprised of the 89 AGC chapter executives nationwide, established the award in 2013 as a means of recognizing chapter executives who embody “the highest standard of conduct, innovation and leadership, providing value to contractor members, ELC colleagues and the industry.”
Clowser has been with the CAWV for 40 years. During his time, he consistently demonstrates his vast knowledge of the industry, utilizes innovative changes in technology to better produce quality services to members and represents the construction industry before members of the West Virginia Legislature and state and federal contracting agencies.
“All of us at CAWV would like to thank Mike for his guidance and dedication to our association, and congratulate him on this distinguished honor,” said CAWV President Roger Thomas, vice president of Kelly Paving, Inc., Williamstown.
The CAWV, the state chapter of AGC of America, is the state’s largest full-service construction association, representing over 450 firms in the building, highway and utility construction industry throughout West Virginia.
