Expo from noon until 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Save the date: The 13th annual Charleston Wedding Expo will be held from noon until 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at the Charleston Civic Center.
The expo is a “one-stop shop” for wedding planning, featuring more than 100 top professionals showcasing the latest trends for unforgettable wedding days, including a bridal fashion show of styles for brides, grooms and others in the wedding party.
Admission will cost $6 at the door. Those ordering in advance can receive a $1 discount; for $5 admission, pre-register at the appropriate link at www.charlestonwvciviccenter.com.
Expo-goers are also encouraged to sign up early for the second annual Exclusive VIP Experience at the 2017 show. It will take place from 11 a.m. until noon at the Civic Center, before the start of the expo. It is limited to the first 100 registrants. A catered brunch, including mimosas, will be served, and a panel of wedding experts will share their ideas, talents, insights and professional know-how with attendees. Exclusive VIP Experience sponsor Bravo Live DJ & Lighting Extravaganza will serve as the entertainment host. Sephora will conduct a beauty demonstration and distribute goodie bags.

Additionally, the Charleston Wedding Expo and Sephora are teaming up to offer four lucky brides-to-be a “Let’s Beauty Together” makeover by Sephora professional makeup artists. The selected four will model one of four beauty looks — Classic, Modern, Trendy or Natural — at the Exclusive VIP Experience.
To enter the “Let’s Beauty Together” makeover contest, comment on the Charleston Wedding Expo Facebook page on which of the four looks you would choose for your wedding day. The entry deadline is noon Friday, Dec. 16.
Door prizes will be awarded throughout the expo, as well, including gifts valued at $100 or more from each of the participating vendors.
A special 2017 Charleston Wedding Expo edition will be included in the Jan. 1 Sunday Gazette-Mail, as well.
