Oak Hill — ACE Adventure Resort is excited to announce the official kickoff of the 2026 whitewater rafting season, with the first trip of the year scheduled for Tuesday, March 31st. As spring arrives in the New River Gorge National Park, guests can once again experience the thrill of one of West Virginia’s most iconic outdoor adventures.
ACE Adventure Resort will offers full-day and half-day whitewater rafting trips on the Lower New River Gorge, giving visitors an early-season opportunity to paddle through breathtaking scenery and world-class rapids.
Known for its blend of adventure and natural beauty, the Lower New River features more than 20 exciting rapids, making it a favorite for both first-time rafters and seasoned paddlers. Guided by experienced professionals, guests navigate rolling waves, technical lines, and scenic stretches beneath towering sandstone cliffs — all within the nation’s newest national park.
