MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Starting with the Fall 2018 semester, West Virginia University will offer a new degree program.
The Sports and Adventure Media major is a blended program between the Reed College of Media and the College of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences. The program will be the only one of its kind in the country.
This program replaces the long standing tradition of aspiring sports reporters majoring in journalism and minoring in sports communication.
