MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — WVU introduced two all-gender bathrooms in the Mountainlair this week.

“We’re always engaged with our students but also as an institution, we’re watching and aware of what’s going on nationally and it’s just the right thing to do,” said Corey Farris, dean of students. “As we become increasingly diverse on campus, we need to make sure that we’re supporting the diverse students that are here.”

The two bathrooms are on the second floor of the Mountainlair near the conference/event rooms.

There are also a number of all-gender restrooms around campus including in Elizabeth Moore Hall and the Health and Wellness Building.
