MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The AutoZone Liberty Bowl doesn’t kick off until 2 p.m. today, but the West Virginia and Texas A&M bands had a chance to kick off their bowl season Sunday, Dec. 28.
“This was my first bowl parade and my first bowl game in general — I didn’t get to go to the Pinstripe Bowl,” WVU drum line member Kyle Monroe said.
“I didn’t know what to expect. Sometimes parades aren’t as much fun because you’re so tired and sore afterwards, but this was a lot of fun. It was a great vibe coming down Beale Street, and we got to interact with a lot of the spectators.”
