
Charlotte Pritt is running for governor on the Mountain Party platform.
CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — The Mountain Party, the West Virginia affiliate of the Green Party, has a shot at winning the state’s upcoming gubernatorial race in November, according to party leaders.
“I have the best shot at winning the governorship from the Mountain Party since I’m a proven candidate,” said contender Charlotte Pritt, who grew up in Charleston.
Pritt was nominated as the Mountain Party’s gubernatorial candidate during the party’s state convention held in Bridgeport on Saturday.
