W.Va. ski resorts all open, ready for another season

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — High in the mountains of West Virginia they’re getting snow and cold just they way they like it — early and often.

The state’s five downhill ski resorts have all opened ahead of schedule and some good deals await for folks wanting to get a good ski on.

Between them, they draw in more than 800,000 ski visits a year from now through April, employ more than 5,000 people and pump about $250 million annually into the state’s economy, according to www.goskiwv.com.
