BECKLEY, W.Va. — It hasn’t been quite a month since the New Orleans Saints left The Greenbrier and headed back to Louisiana, putting an exclamation point on a busy summer at the Greenbrier County resort that included professional tennis, PGA Tour golf and NFL football.
After a short break, The Greenbrier is again prepared to welcome in some of the biggest stars in the world of sports for the fourth annual Greenbrier Champions Tennis Classic, which will be held Sept. 26 and 27.
Courier and McEnroe will kick off the event with a singles match Sept. 26 at noon, followed by a Sampras vs. Blake match at 2:30 p.m.
All four players will return to the new Center Court at Creekside Sunday for a doubles match at 12:30 p.m. Sampras and McEnroe will team together in that match to take on Courier and Blake…
