FAIRMONT, W.Va. — An active shooter simulation was held Thursday morning in Morrow Hall on Fairmont State University’s main campus to train for a real-life situation.
Several police departments were involved in the training, as well as members of the university staff and student body.
“This was something that we planned before recent events,” said Matt Swain, deputy chief of the FSU Police. “This is something that happens in the world, and we want to be as prepared as we can.”
