LOGAN, W.Va. — More documents have been obtained from the Logan County Board of Education (LCBOE) which allegedly show former superintendent Phyllis Doty used the board’s funds to buy items for her son’s wedding from a second website.
On August 3, Paul Hardesty, president of the LCBOE, announced the board was under investigation by the Commission on Special Investigations in Charleston.
Part of the investigation reportedly revolves around Doty’s use of the board’s funds to purchase items for her son’s wedding.
The Logan Banner was also able to obtain documents which allegedly showed Doty had used board funds to purchase more than $4,800 at the wedding store, Column Warehouse…
