… Loretta Smith of Child Protector Services asked the (Calhoun County) commission to consider prosecuting attorney Shannon Jones Johnson’s request to make her position full-time.
“She has went above and beyond,” said Smith about Johnson’s working with her agency’s issues. “Please give (hiring Johnson full time) your utmost consideration.”
The commission said it would vote at its September meeting on whether to keep the prosecuting attorney a part-time position or to make the job full-time. …
