BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Travelers left behind chilly weather in favor of the Sunshine State Thursday as Allegiant Air’s first flight took off from North Central West Virginia Regional Airport en route to Orlando-Sanford.
With the temperature in the upper 40s, passengers boarded an MD80 jet around 2:30 p.m. One hour and 45 minutes later, they landed in Florida, where temperatures were in the mid-70s.
