CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Harrison Magistrate Mark Gorby, acquitted of five felony charges July 5, was reinstated with back pay by the state Supreme Court on Wednesday.
Gorby had been suspended without pay — from Oct. 14, 2014 — pending the outcome of the case.
The Judicial Investigation Commission’s formal statement of charges against Gorby had been filed Nov. 21, 2014, but proceedings had been postponed pending the outcome of the criminal case…
