WASHINGTON, W.V.a. (WV News) — Gov. Jim Justice will serve on the U.S. Committee on Energy and Natural Resources after taking his seat in the Senate next month.
Justice, who will succeed outgoing Sen. Joe Manchin, I-W.Va., in the Senate, will have a seat on the committee Manchin currently chairs.
“I have tremendous experience in the energy field and like President @realDonaldTrump believe energy is the solution to so many of the critical issues facing the nation,” said Justice in a social media post announcing his committee assignments.
Additionally, Justice will serve on the Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee; the Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship; and the Aging Committee.
