LEWISBURG, W.Va. — After handing out more than $760,000 in grants at his press conference at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine last week, Gov. Jim Justice spoke on a variety of topics, including infrastructure for Rainelle and the future of Lewisburg’s ABB plant.
He also dropped tantalizing hints about West Virginia’s prospects for landing another major federal installation.
Already the home of the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services Division, in Clarksburg, the state is “in the running” to be the new site of the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) headquarters, when the agency relocates from Washington, D.C., Justice said.
