WASHINGTON (WV News) — West Virginia’s congressional representatives participated in certifying President-elect Donald Trump’s 2024 election victory.
Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., Rep. Carol Miller, R-W.Va., and Rep. Riley Moore, R-W.Va., were present for the joint session of Congress Monday in the U.S. House Chamber.
“The American people spoke loud and clear on Election Day, sending a strong message that they want a president who will work for them and make their lives better,” Capito said in a statement. “President Trump has policies, ideas, and a proven track record that will jump start our economy, secure our border, and ensure America is strong and respected around the world.”
