U.S. Sen. Manchin talks about ‘fake news’ with Bluefield State College students

BLUEFIELD — U.S. Senator Joe Manchin, D- W.Va., spoke to Bluefield State College students Wednesday enrolled in a media class titled “fake news.”

The class, taught by Dr. Jan Czarnecki, teaches students how to traverse the media.

The topic of fake news became prevalent in the media when President Donald Trump coined the phrase regarding supposed fraudulent media coverage of his administration.
