MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — U.S. Rep. Evan Jenkins says the Eastern Panhandle would be an eligible candidate for any federal money earmarked from President Donald Trump’s infrastructure plan, which could exceed $1.5 trillion.

“As go the roads, so goes the jobs,” said Jenkins, R-W.Va., who toured the Argos cement plant in Martinsburg Wednesday. “The Eastern Panhandle is special — it’s unique. Jenkins, who represents the state’s 3rd Congressional District, is running for the U.S. Senate seat held by U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va.
