The Journal welcomes Publisher Will Alsworth

Alsworth has worked his way from an independent contractor to district sales manager, circulation director and now publisher.

His newspaper career began as an independent contractor with the Hattiesburg American in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After two months on the job, he was made an assistant district sales manager and within a year, district sales manager–a position he held for four years before becoming the mailroom manager. He then became the mailroom operations manager at the Winchester Star for five and a half years. He returned to circulation as a district sales manager for the Northern Virginia Daily, then circulation manager, and then moved into his most recent role.
