CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The American Red Cross continues to serve the communities of Alderson, Amma, Bethel, Big Otter, Birch River, Caldwell, Camden-on-Gauley, Clendenin, Elkview, Erbacon, Gauley Bridge, Hico, Ivydale, Mount Pleasant, Nallen, Neola, Nuttall, Oak View, Queen Shoal, Rainelle, Renick, Richwood, River Haven, Ronceverte, Rupert, Talicot, White Sulfur Springs and others.
As of July 1st, the American Red Cross has provided over 1,500 overnight stays, facilitated the delivery of more than 65,000 meals and snacks. There are five feeding sites and 28 emergency response vehicles providing mobile feeling into the impacted communities. There have been almost 700 Red Cross workers including more than 600 volunteers assisting those impacted.
