Raleigh Delegate to become legislative liaison at the West Virginia governor’s office

CHARLESTON, W.Va.  — Raleigh County Delegate John O’Neal will take a position with the governor’s office at the end of the month.

O’Neal, a Republican who has served as assistant majority leader in the House, has been hired as a legislative liaison for Gov. Jim Justice. He is set to start his new position later this month.
O’Neal was born in Hinton and served in various capacities through his career including serving on the Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce. He was elected to the House in 2010, serving as majority whip and later assistant majority leader.
