Putnam County Fair in full swing

ELEANOR, W.Va. – The Putnam County Fair is in full swing and will continue through Saturday, July 15.

So far, the fair has seen a variety of events, including the livestock exhibition, the Putnam County Fair Idol contest, carnival rides, food and karaoke. Concerts have been held by country artists Brandon Lay and Luke Combs.

The motorized events complex has held a tractor pull, a demolition derby and a rodeo and will hold motor events on each of the fair’s remaining days.

Saturday’s features include the 4 Wheel Drive Mud Run at 1 p.m., the Kids Pedal Power Championship Pulls at 6:30 p.m. and a performance by rock band Mother Nature at 8:30 p.m.
