PITTSBURGH, Pa. — One of those killed in the synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh Saturday was a West Virginia Wesleyan College graduate.

Daniel Stein, 71, was a 1969 graduate of WVWC. He and seven other men and three women were killed inside the Tree of Life Synagogue in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood on Saturday during worship services. Six people were injured in the attack, including four police officers.

Bob Skinner, vice president for advancement of WVWC, wrote about Stein in a Facebook post Sunday evening.
