CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Office of Secretary of Education and the Arts recently launched a new website enabling users to access useful and relevant information quickly and easily.

The new website, www.edandarts.wv.gov/, was built using responsive design, adjusting to any size screen whether the user is accessing the site from a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

The redesigned website allows users to connect with the agency and stay up to date on news, announcements and events as well as to find information about grants, programs and agencies. Additionally, the site features a new photo section that enables visitors to connect with the agency on Instagram and view images of recent events.

The new website was developed at no additional cost by the Office of Secretary of Education and the Arts in partnership with WV.gov.

The Department of Education and the Arts provides statewide leadership and innovation, enhancing arts and minds throughout West Virginia. Composed of six agencies and a number of special programs originating from the Cabinet Secretary’s Office, the department seeks to reinforce the rich heritage of culture, education, and artistic creation in West Virginia.
