MEDIA ALERT: Apply now for credentials for Oct. 4 WV Gubernatorial Debate

Requests for media credentials for the 2016 West Virginia Gubernatorial Debate on Oct. 4 at the Clay Center in Charleston should be submitted now

The Oct 4 debate — the first of two gubernatorial debates  with Republican Bill Cole and Democrat Jim Justice —  is open to all media and sponsored by AARP West Virginia and the West Virginia Press Association.WVP Gubernatorial Debate Ad
 
The debate is a 60-minute event and will be televised statewide on W.Va. Public Broadcasting’s West Virginia Channel. Additionally, the 30-minute post-debate analysis featuring West Virginia journalists will also be televised statewide on WVPB’s West Virginia Channel.  The broadcast feed for both is available to all media. It will also be live-streamed and available for media websites.
 
News organization can request media credentials for the debate, get pool photography of the debate, have access to the broadcast feed and carry the debate broadcast or as a live-stream on your website.
 
To apply for media credentials, you must download the form, complete, save and email to [email protected]
