The West Virginia Press Association (WVPA) has opened the platform for WVPA’s annual Editorial and Advertising Contest. Entry submission is now open, and the submission deadline is Monday, April 21, 2025.
But, why wait?
The WVPA is offering an Executive Director Early Bird special 10% discount to newspapers who have uploaded all of their contest entries and submitted them for judging by March 31 at midnight.
The following are steps each newspaper needs to follow to get registered on the website and begin submitting their entries:
Step 1 – Access the contest platform using the following link www.newspapercontest.com/Contests/WestVirginiaPressAssociation.aspx.
Step 2 — Register on the contest webpage using your email address. You will receive a confirmation email, which you will need to complete registration.
NOTE: The association code for the contest website was sent out in a prior email. To obtain the code, contact Stella Gill at [email protected].
The deadline to submit entries is Monday, April 21, 2025. But remember, WVPA is offering a 10% discount for all newspapers that have completed all their entries and submitted them for judging by March 31st.
