HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Division of Applied Science and Technology and the Safety Technology Advisory Board will host the second annual Marshall Safety Conference (MSC) in September in Huntington.
This year’s MSC will focus on the growing list of tasks and responsibilities for safety specialists and how to manage them.
“Last year’s conference was a tremendous success, and we’re excited to be able to offer this conference again,” said Toney Stroud, Safety Technology Advisory Board chairman. “Safety is an important topic in all industries and work locations; today’s safety professionals are expected to juggle a long list of responsibilities and be authorities in many different specializations. This year we are welcoming a diverse group of experts to explore what makes up the role of the safety professional in today’s world.”
Who: Safety, health and environmental professionals and students interested in joining the conversation and learning more about behavioral safety, incident investigation, industrial hygiene and ergonomics, and more.
