Gubernatorial Town Hall Debate set for Monday at WVSU

Civitas Newspapers — Logan Banner, Williamson Daily News, Gilbert Times, Coal Valley News and The Independent Herald of Pineville — assisting with debate

 

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — West Virginia voters will have a chance to see Democratic gubernatorial candidates Jeff Kessler, the state’s Senate Minority Leader, and Booth Goodwin, a former U.S. attorney, on Monday – April 18 – when the two participate in debate hosted by WVAH-TV, WCHS-TV, West Virginia State University and Civitas Newspapers: Logan Banner, Williamson Daily News, Gilbert Times, Coal Valley News and The Independent Herald of Pineville.

The Fox Democratic Gubernatorial Debatedebate in Charleston will broadcast live from West Virginia State University’s Davis Fine Arts Center at 6:30 p.m. and carried live on Fox 11 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday.

The debate which will also stream live at wchstv.com and wvahtv.com and featured by Civitas Media newspapers and the West Virginia Press Association.

 

 

Candidate Jim Justice declined the invitation.
