County-wide, 50.42 percent of voters cast 19,647 ballots: 4,089 through early voting, 415 through absentee and 15,143 on Tuesday.

At precinct 112 in the Marion County Convention & Visitor Center, commissioner Sharon Yoho said 231 voters came to the polls Tuesday, which she thought was a good number.
