CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Today, the Communications Workers of America (CWA) announced that it is backing Jim Justice in the 2016 election. The CWA is one of the largest unions in West Virginia, representing 3,000 workers in the telecommunications industry as well as public employees.
“Jim Justice has always fought to bring jobs to West Virginia, and we know he can do even more as our next governor,” stated David Fox, President of the West Virginia CWA State Council. “Working people can trust Jim to transform this state. There is no one more prepared to create jobs and bring new businesses to West Virginia.”
“If we all pull the rope together there is nothing we can’t do,” said businessman Jim Justice. “I’m honored to have the CWA join me on this jobs creation rocket ride. I will bring jobs to West Virginia like no one could ever believe.”
