Education service urges college student base to vote

FAIRMONT, W.Va.  – Clutch Prep is an online education tutoring service dedicated to helping college students mainly in STEM subjects succeed.

With election season coming up cross-country, the administrators of this platform have been focusing on the importance of voting, as college students have provided some of the lowest turnout numbers in polling places over the past several years.

“We became interested in this issue I guess because there’s always been some room here for people to have specific causes,” Todd Metheny, vice president of engineering for Clutch Prep, said. “Because we have these users that are college students – we have a little over half-a-million users, one of the causes we find interesting is college voting.”
