CHARLESTON, W.Va. — House Minority Whip and Delegate Mike Caputo (D-50) has filed to run for re-election to his seat in the House of Delegates representing the people of the Marion County, according to a press release submitted by the West Virginia Democratic Party.
“I am immensely proud to represent the people of Marion County and to strive every day to support West Virginia working families, who are the lifeblood of West Virginia’s economy,” Caputo stated in the release. “When our working families succeed, our entire state prospers.
“Ever since the Republicans gained the majority in the Legislature, West Virginia working families have been under attack,” Caputo noted. “I have fought the majority’s efforts tooth-and-nail and will continue to do everything I can to stop harmful legislation aimed to reduce workplace safety, lower wages and give workers less of a voice.”
