Campus carry bill dies in the West Virginia House of Representatives

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A bill that would allow campus carry at public universities in West Virginia will likely not be passed this year.

Wednesday was the last day a bill could be passed from the West Virginia House of Representatives to the State Senate.

As of Wednesday night, House Bill 4298, or “The Campus Self Defense Act”, remained in House Judiciary.
