Campaign Update: W.Va. Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Thrasher calls on Governor to operation businesses in West Virginia

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Woody Thrasher, Republican Gubernatorial Candidate, issued the following statement:

“I support the Second Amendment, and I add my encouragement to those Virginians who love the Constitution to join us here in West Virginia where we respect the right to bear arms.

“I’d also like to personally invite Jim Justice to locate any of his businesses currently headquartered in Virginia to join us here in our Mountain State as well.

“West Virginia has lost 37,000 people in the three years Jim Justice has been in office.

“So, when and if this question of statehood is on Virginians’ ballots in November, I’m confident they would be joining a fresh, new day in West Virginia with me as Governor, showing up to work hard every day creating more jobs, better roads and stronger schools.

“West Virginians deserve a Governor who keeps his word, plays by the rules and honors our values. We just can’t trust Jim Justice to get the job done.”
