CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Teamsters Local 175 has unanimously endorsed Kanawha County Commissioner, Ben Salango, for Governor of West Virginia. Local 175 joins the International Union of Operating Engineers and the Upper Ohio Valley Building Trades in their endorsement of Salango.
Salango continues to pick up support from working men and women across West Virginia.
“We are proud to endorse Ben Salango to be West Virginia’s next governor. He is the best choice in 2020 for working families in the Mountain State. He will stand up for workers’ rights, workers’ safety, and workers’ ability to provide for their families. He will represent all West Virginians. We look forward to working with his campaign to replace Jim Justice and ending his anti-worker agenda.”
– Ken Hall, General Secretary-Treasurer of the Teamsters
“West Virginia deserves a governor who will show up every single day for West Virginia working families,” said Kanawha County Commissioner Ben Salango. “I am honored to have the Teamsters Local 175 stand with me in this campaign to take back our state.”
